Production
Sheet and tape mark 50N are made from low-nickel permalloy. Permalloys are alloys based on iron and nickel with high magnetic permeability. The composition is distinguished by low-nickel (40−50% Ni), and high-nickel (72−82% Ni)). Permalloys can easily magnetize, have a high sensitivity to the change in the magnetic field. The 50H alloy is optimized for the optimization of magnetic properties by such elements as molybdenum, chromium, copper, etc. It is melted in a vacuum or under the protection of a neutral gas.
Percentage composition 50Н GOST 10994−74 .
Alloy | C | Cu | Fe | Ni | Cr | Mn | P | S | Si | Impurities |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
50H | ≤0,03 | ≤0.2 | 48.33−50.5 | 49−50.5 | --- | 0.3−0.6 | ≤0,02 | ≤0,02 | 0.15−0.3 | ≤0,02 |
Cold rolling of sheets and tapes is used with subsequent annealing to increase the magnetic properties.
Using
Initially, 50H was used to reduce signal distortion in telecommunications cables as a compensator of their distributed capacitance. Today, this permalloy serves for the manufacture of magnetic field sensors, for example, in chip transformer plates, for elements of magnetic recording heads. Due to low magnetostriction, the 50H alloy is used in precision magneto-mechanical devices and other devices where dimensional stability is required in a changing magnetic field.
Buy at a bargain price
Our site offers a wide range of products from precision materials. High quality products and the absence of intermediaries (working directly with the manufacturer) determine the most profitable proposals for the purchase of sheet and 50H tape to solve any production problems. Delivery in the shortest time in any region of the country and abroad, the compliance of products of regulatory documentation has long won the trust of regular customers. Due to the relatively low cost and a wide range of semi-finished products, the material enjoys constant popularity in all spheres of production.
