High-strength, corrosion-resistant and sufficiently plastic alloys based on chromium and nickel have long and firmly entered our daily life. Due to the well-balanced composition and the presence of a large number of additional alloying components, the alloy KhN32T possesses a number of unique characteristics that are used in most branches of modern industry. The high heat resistance of this raw material makes it possible to use it in the production of structural components of equipment, the operating temperature of which can reach eight hundred and fifty degrees on a Celsius scale. Significant resistance to an aggressive environment, both liquid and gaseous, makes it possible to actively use the alloy in the chemical industry, and the good machinability of the material facilitates the fabrication from it of semi-finished products of various shapes and sizes. Indicators of fluidity, malleability and resistance to electric current may vary somewhat within acceptable limits, depending on changes in chemical composition.

The presence of harmful impurities adversely affecting the performance of the alloy ХН32Т is minimized due to the use of arc furnaces in the production process. The density of such a material is slightly more than eight grams per cubic centimeter of the volume of the semi-finished product, and the mechanical parameters may vary somewhat depending on the temperature regime. It is also worth noting that, thanks to a fairly easy weldability, such raw materials are very actively used in the manufacture of welded structures of any type. To improve the properties of the material, it can be further subjected to heat treatment. Most often this procedure is the heating of the part (from 1000 to 1200 degrees), followed by cooling in the open air. In the course of this action, the internal stresses obtained during manufacturing are removed, and the strength index is increased.
